The Buildings
These energy efficient business units have been constructed to take advantage of the latest building initiatives to benefit the environment and the occupiers. The design is centred around efficiency to create a workplace with increased productivity and healthier, happier occupants.
Services - Mains electricity, water and drainage individually connected to the units.
Phone lines and fibre-optic internet will be ducted to the units and ready for individual connections, subject to specific requirements.
Insulation - having a frame allows there to be more insulation in the walls keeping the heat inside in the Winter and out in the Summer.
Advance Glazing - The windows are double glazed and filled with argon gas carrying less energy between the panes of glass controlling heat in and out.
Air Source Heat Pumps - Heated and cooled with reverse cycle air conditioning units connected to air source heat pumps (currently not included in Unit 13).
Energy Efficient Lighting Design - The internal lighting is designed to be a high quality energy efficient control system to save wastage.
Maximize Natural Lighting - Careful design and choice of window materials, coverings and aspects to maximise the use of natural lighting.
